    What's the story

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is reportedly uncomfortable with her ex-husband Ye's decision to include their daughter North West in a song.

The track, Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine, also stars disgraced rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is facing trial on charges of sexual abuse, rape, and prostitution.

The collaboration has ignited a bitter feud between the exes, with reports stating that she is "uncomfortable" with their daughter's association with Combs.

    Song details

'Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine' features West's vocals

Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine has West rapping along with her dad and Combs, with vocal support from the latter's son Christian "King" Combs, and Chicago artist Jasmine Williams.

Throughout the song, Combs sings about the way Ye stood by his kids in tough times, to which Ye responds with praises for Combs.

The 11-year-old's contribution is the line, "When you see me shining, then you see the light."

    Legal issues

Kardashian's legal concerns over West's involvement

Kardashian's distress comes from her worries over West's involvement in the controversial track. Reportedly, she tried to stop the song's release but failed.

The reality TV star has trademarked her daughter's name, meaning any unauthorized use of it could land in legal trouble.

In a text exchange shared by Ye on social media, Kardashian revealed she had already sent him paperwork asking not to involve West in the song.

    Ye's stance

Ye's ongoing support for Combs amid controversy

Despite Kardashian's concerns, Ye has continued to support Combs, even urging former US President Donald Trump to intervene and secure his release from jail.

Calling the incarcerated rapper his brother, Ye tweeted in February, "THEY TRYNA PROVE A POINT AND YALL KNOW THAT YALL F*CKING KNOW THAT AND SITTING LAUGHING AT THE F*CKING INTERNET ON INSTAGRAM THIS MAN GAVE HIS LIFE TO US THIS MY IDOL THIS MY HERO."

This stance has further fueled the disagreement between the former couple.
