Director Khan lauded Aaryan's dedication
Director Khan has praised Aaryan's commitment and hard work in preparing for his role in Chandu Champion.
In a recent post, Khan shared, "The story of Chandu Champion is an incredibly inspiring true story but the journey that Kartik went through to become this champion is no less inspiring."
He revealed that the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star transformed himself from having 39% body fat to just 7% without using steroids, a feat he was adamant about achieving.
Film synopsis
'Chandu Champion' chronicles life of Paralympic gold medalist
Chandu Champion is a biographical drama where Aaryan portrays India's first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar.
The film will reportedly detail Petkar's severe injuries sustained during his service in the Indian Army and his subsequent recovery.
Actors Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis will also be seen in significant roles.
The trailer of the Sajid Nadiadwala-backed flick will be dropped on Saturday.
