Now, in a new video, the 33-year-old actor opened up about a particularly dark phase of her life, admitting she had even turned to drugs, and how spirituality rescued her from it.

In the video, posted by Kangana's team on Instagram, the actor detailed snippets from a dark phase of her life, saying, "Bad times are the only good times."
The actor confessed she was 15/16 years old when she ran away from her house, adding that she became a movie star as well as a drug-addict within 2 years of that.

Further, in the video, Kangana added, "My life was so messed up, I was with certain types of people from whom only death could have saved me. All of this happened in my life at the time when I was only a teenager."
She added that her life changed for better after a friend introduced her to Yoga and spirituality.

Sharing that she followed the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and followed Brahmacharya, Kangana accepted that she would not have been able to groom her talent and develop good emotional health, if she hadn't opted for spiritual guidance.
However, Kangana explained that Brahmacharya "is not celibacy or just about celibacy."
"So, make use of this time. Bad times are the only good times," she concluded.

Work
On the work front for Kangana
Separately, on the work front, Kangana was last seen in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's sports movie Panga. The film received glowing reviews.
She now has several projects in the pipeline. They include Jayalalithaa's biopic Thalaivi, Razneesh Ghai's action movie Dhaakad, and military-drama Tejas.
However, all movie productions currently remain stalled due to the 21-day lockdown over the coronavirus outbreak.
