    What's the story

In her latest attack, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel has claimed that poet/lyricist Javed Akhtar once threatened Kangana Ranaut and asked her to apologize to fellow actor Hrithik Roshan, who the actress infamously had a spat with.

Further, Rangoli also leveled allegations against Mahesh Bhatt, claiming that the filmmaker once threw a slipper at her sister.

    Details

Rangoli called out Akhtar, Bhatt for calling PM "fascist"

Citing an interview, wherein Akhtar called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a "fascist", Rangoli wrote on Twitter, "Javed Akhtar ji called Kangana home and intimidated her threatened her to say sorry to Hrithik [Roshan]. (sic)"

"Mahesh Bhatt threw chappal [slipper] on her cos she refused to play a suicide bomber, they call PM Facist, chacha ji aap dono kya ho? (sic)," she added.

    Context

Kangana, Hrithik had an infamous brawl over their alleged affair

For the unversed, Kangana and Hrithik, who were co-stars in Krrish 3, engaged in a dirty legal brawl, over their alleged affair.

It all started when Hrithik slammed a defamation case against Kangana after she called him a "silly ex." Thereafter, Kangana filed a counter-charge against Hrithik.

The investigation went on for months but didn't yield any results.

    Past

Last year, Kangana attacked Akhtar after the Pulwama attack

Kangana previously had an altercation with Akhtar and his wife Shabana Azmi, when they canceled their visit to Pakistan, following the Pulwama terror attack last year.

They opted out of the literary conference that they were scheduled to attend in Karachi, in solidarity with the Indian soldiers martyred in the attack.

However, Kangana slammed the duo for accepting the invitation in the first place.

    Quote

People like Shabana promote 'Tukde Tukde' gangs: Kangana

Back then, Kangana had said, "People like Shabana Azmi calling for a halt on cultural exchange - they are the ones who promote Bharat Tere Tukde Honge gangs."

"Why did they organize an event in Karachi in the first place when Pakistani artistes have been banned after Uri attacks (2016)? And now they are trying to save face," she had added.

    Details

Rangoli, Kangana also often target the Bhatt family

Meanwhile, Rangoli and Kangana also attack the Bhatt family, including Mahesh Bhatt and his actor daughter Alia, frequently.

Most recently, Rangoli took a dig at Alia, after she congratulated Kangana for her Padma Shri win.

Kangana had also once termed Alia as filmmaker Karan Johar's "puppet".

She was also critical of Alia's performance in the 2019 musical drama Gully Boy.
