Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up to set the box office ablaze with a slew of releases in 2024 and 2025.
One of her highly-anticipated projects is the political thriller Ulajh, helmed by National Award-winning director Sudhanshu Saria.
Announced last year, the project is nearing its completion.
Now, per a Pinkvilla report, the team behind Ulajh is aiming for a release on July 5, although there has been no official confirmation by the makers so far.

A source close to the project told the portal, "With the post-production work nearing its completion, the team of Junglee Pictures are targeting to bring their political thriller on July 5, 2024, and an official announcement is around the corner."
The insider also expressed the team's enthusiasm for introducing a fresh genre to the Indian audience.
Alongside Kapoor, Ulajh also features Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Adil Hussain, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi.

The narrative follows an IFS (Indian Foreign Service) officer entangled in controversy during a pivotal assignment.
A representative from Junglee Pictures remarked earlier, "Ulajh is a high-concept script with a strong protagonist, that promises to keep you gripped till the end. Action, drama, and Sudhanshu's flair for showcasing unique concepts is the perfect mix for this thriller."

Earlier, Kapoor shared excitement about her 'Ulajh' experience
After the film's wrap-up, Kapoor expressed her enthusiasm by stating, "I have learned so much through this experience. I wake up every day and feel so inspired seeing each one involved in the film, giving their heart and soul to everything."
In a separate interview, she said, "As an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone, and portraying this character was just that...As the name suggests—my character...the story has many layers."

Kapoor's acting skills will be on display not only in Ulajh, but also in another film, Mr & Mrs Maahi, directed by Sharan Sharma and co-starring Rajkummar Rao.
The release date is yet to be announced.
She is next set to make her Telugu cinema debut alongside Jr NTR in Devara—slated for an October 10 release.
Additionally, Kapoor will star opposite Varun Dhawan in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari—backed by Karan Johar—scheduled for release next year.
