The former couple, in a joint statement, revealed that they called it quits at the end of the last year.
Speculations about trouble in their paradise were rife for quite some time now.

"In an effort to reduce any further speculation, we have decided to announce our separation. This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple," the statement read.

Jennifer and Justin first met on the sets of 'Tropic Thunder' back in 2008, started dating in 2011 and tied the knot in 2015.
Their wedding had come as a surprise to the fans as well as the media as it was a hushed affair. They managed to keep it a secret, only if they knew it would end in just two years.

Fans have already dragged Brad Pitt into the matter
As soon as the news came out, fans on Twitter couldn't resist making all sorts of conjectures. While some of them blamed Brad Pitt for Jennifer's separation, others hoped that the former couple would reunite as Brad has also called it quits with Angelina Jolie.
