    What's the story

Almost a year ago, Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with the Neuroendocrine tumor and he went to London for treatment.

The Bollywood actor recently returned home after his tough battle with cancer and expressed his gratitude towards his fans.

Irrfan shared an emotional post on Twitter and thanked his fans for their unconditional love and support during his journey.

Here's more on what he said.

    Post

Your love soothed me in my process of healing: Irrfan

In his post, Irrfan wrote about his healing and how grateful he was for the unconditional love that he received from his fans.

"In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing," he wrote.

    Diagnosis

Irrfan was diagnosed with a rare cancer

To recall, Irrfan was diagnosed with a high-grade Neuroendocrine tumor in March last year and flew to London soon after.

While it was speculated that he was battling with a brain tumor, Irrfan cleared about his disease.

"I got to know, it was rare, and due to fewer study cases, and less information comparatively, the unpredictability of the treatment was more," he had mentioned.

    Treatment

Irrfan is fine and recovering well: Tigmanshu Dhulia

Speculations about Irrfan's health never died down. Recently, it was reported that after his return, Irrfan would get treated at Mumbai's Kokilaben hospital.

The media reports further suggested that the healing process from the deadly disease has been quite exhausting for him.

However, director Tigmanshu Dhulia, Irrfan's close friend, rubbished the reports and said that he is fine and recovering well.

    Comeback

Will Irrfan make his comeback with 'Hindi Medium 2'?

Meanwhile, reports claim that Irrfan will soon be making his comeback on the big screen with Hindi Medium 2.

Talking about the same, producer Dinesh Vijan stated that the script of the movie is ready and they're waiting for Irrfan's recovery.

"Irrfan has just come back to town. It's the script that's ready. Hopefully, in another month, we'll have clarity," Dinesh was quoted saying.
