Despite her influential role in the production, she emphasized that she doesn't hold the final decision on its continuation.
During the premiere of Challengers in Los Angeles, Zendaya who plays Rue, stated, "If it's right for the characters and everything turns out the way it should, of course...But it's beyond me."

On March 25, HBO announced a temporary halt in the production of Euphoria Season 3.
The network, along with show creator Sam Levinson, however, reassured fans that they remain committed to delivering an exceptional third season, all in due time.
During this pause, cast members have been given the freedom to pursue other professional opportunities, according to an HBO representative.

Cast members addressed 'Euphoria' Season 3 delay
Storm Reid, who portrays Rue's younger sister Gia in Euphoria, was the first to publicly comment on the delay.
Speaking at an event at USC's newly inaugurated School of Dramatic Arts' Drama Center, Reid expressed optimism for Season 3, stating, "I would hope the viewers, the audience will be able to finish the show."
"I think we should handle the show with care. We've put our hearts and soul into it."
Co-star's perspective
Hunter Schafer remained hopeful about reuniting with co-stars soon
Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules in Euphoria, also shared her thoughts on the delay during a GQ event last week.
She expressed excitement about reuniting with her co-stars, stating, "Whatever happens, I'm just excited to get back together once it's time and catch up and hang out."
Plot disputes
Creative disagreements apparently caused delays
The delay in the production of Euphoria Season 3 is reportedly due to creative disagreements within the team.
Levinson apparently proposed a five-year time jump for Season 3, with Rue working as a private detective, Variety reported.
However, Zendaya suggested an alternative plot where Rue becomes a surrogate mother after achieving sobriety.
Currently, Sam Levinson is reportedly working on new scripts for the series.
