Let's dissect the trailer of Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30'
What's the story
The much-awaited official trailer of Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30 was released today.
The film will mark Hrithik's return to silver screen after more than two years. His last film was Kaabil (2017).
It is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, who started the famous Super 30 program to provide free coaching to underprivileged students for IIT-JEE exam.

Hrithik is on a mission to change Indian education system
In the trailer, Hrithik is seen essaying the role of a talented but rebellious Mathematics teacher, who is out on a mission to make a dent in the Indian education, especially the coaching-class system.
His character, Anand Kumar goes to lengths to coach and inspire these students to fight the system and make it big.
"Raja wahi banega, jo haqdaar hoga," he utters.

'Super 30' is set to release on July 12
Produced by Phantom Films (now dissolved), Super 30 is set to release on July 12. The film has been directed by Vikas Bahl (Queen, Shaandaar). It also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Tripathi, Nandish Singh and Amit Sadh.
Inspiration
The real story behind 'Super 30'
As mentioned before, Super 30 draws inspiration from the life and work of mathematician-educationalist Anand Kumar.
Born and raised in Patna, Kumar started his own coaching institute, the Ramanujan School of Mathematics (RSM) in 1992.
However, motivated to help unprivileged students, he launched the Super 30 program in 2002.
Between 2003-2017, 391 out of total 450 students under the program, landed in the IITs.

Opinion: Hrithik's performance feels overdone
If allowed to disagree, I'd personally term Hrithik's performance as not entirely convincing. It feels that the actor couldn't quite get into a lower-middle class man's persona. His on-screen aura and the dialogs feel overdone. Maybe, a bit of subtlety could help.
