    What's the story

After impressing audiences in Super 30, Hrithik Roshan recently left everyone thrilled with his action-packed avatar in War trailer.

However, he had a special condition before giving his nod to the film.

Talking about it, Hrithik recently stated that he wanted to do the movie only if Tiger Shroff was in it, because "only he will be able to stand in front of me."

Hrithik was looking for script as exciting as 'Super 30'

Recalling the days when Hrithik was approached for War, he said that he was looking for a script that would "empower me" like Super 30.

"I had become very lazy. I was enjoying, khana wana kha raha tha, workouts had stopped and I had become very happy. I thought, 'How do I get back?'" he added.

And that's when he was offered War.

    Condition

Hrithik asked Siddharth and Aditya to take Tiger in 'War'

Although he was impressed with the script, he told director Siddharth Anand and producer Aditya Chopra to rope in Tiger opposite him in the action-thriller.

Hrithik believed that only Tiger could inspire him to push his limits, and give his best.

In the trailer, we do see him giving Tiger a fight, but the superstar feels that he still isn't at par with him.

    Quote

I don't think I'm at par with Tiger, admits Hrithik

"Only he will be able to stand in front of me and make me feel like s**t. I'll have to be at my best to even be at par with Tiger and I don't think I'm at par with him even then," Hrithik told Pinkvilla.

    Praise

"He's come to get my spark back now"

Heaping further praises on his War co-star, Hrithik called him a "phenomenal" actor.

"He's going to stay here for 50 years, he will be untouchable," he emphasized.

Hrithik also asserted that while he was Tiger's inspiration once, it is the Baaghi actor who inspires him now.

"It's come a full circle. He's come to get my spark back now," he said.

    Statement

Meanwhile, Tiger is all praises for his 'War' co-star Hrithik

On the other hand, it has been a dream come true moment for Tiger to share screen space with Hrithik in War.

The Gen Y star has often called himself a Hrithik fan, and said that working with him was a great learning experience.

"I respect him more after my personal interaction with him on the sets of our action film," Tiger had stated.

    Action

Four leading Hollywood action directors roped in to choreograph stunts

Touted to be the biggest action entertainer of 2019, War features high-octane action sequence performed by Hrithik and Tiger.

In fact, they even underwent rigorous training for the same.

For a particular bike stunt, they had to be precise, otherwise, they would have hurt themselves.

Notably, four leading Hollywood action directors were roped in to choreograph the sequences.

War will release on October 2.
