Confirmed! 'Hera Pheri 3' to hit the floors this year

    What's the story

Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, who created the eternal favorite Hera Pheri franchise, are all set to collaborate once again for the third installment of the series.

Director Indra Kumar has roped in the trio to recreate their magic for the much awaited Hera Pheri 3.

Reportedly, the movie will be hitting the floors by the end of this year.

    Here's more.

    Feature

VFX to rule 'Hera Pheri 3,' like 'Total Dhamaal'

Talking about the movie, Kumar told BollywoodHungama that he is planning to use a lot of special effects in Hera Pheri 3 and that will be a major highlight of the movie.

Interestingly, Indra got this idea from his last directorial Total Dhamaal.

Starring Ajay Devgn in the lead, the movie was high on VFX and was lauded for its special effects.

    Fact

Initially, Akshay wasn't a part of 'Hera Pheri 3'

Apparently, there were reports that Akshay had opted out of Hera Pheri 3 despite being a part of the previous two installments.

"He demanded a higher fee which shocked the makers. They were left with no other option but to let go of the film," a source told DNA.

He had also confirmed the news earlier that he wasn't a part of HP3.

    Replacement

Akshay was replaced by Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham

Undoubtedly, Akshay's exit came as a shock to the original team of Hera Pheri.

Eventually, in 2016, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham were signed to replace Akshay for the third film.

However, things didn't work out with them, and they also walked out of HP3.

Now after two years, it seems that the makers have finally convinced Akshay to rejoin the franchise.

    Story

'Hera Pheri 3' to be different, to revolve around mistaken-identity

According to media reports, Hera Pheri 3 will begin exactly where the second installment Phir Hera Pheri had ended.

But, there will be a slight change in the theme of the movie this time.

"It is a film about mistaken identity. There are many Rajus in the film and Hera Pheri 3 is about finding the real Raju," the source was quoted saying.
