    What's the story

Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release, Sikandar, has been making all the right noise, thanks to its star-studded ensemble cast.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal alongside Khan.

Now, according to a report by Filmibeat, Khan has reportedly charged a staggering ₹120 crore for his role in this highly anticipated film.

Mandanna and Aggarwal's remuneration for 'Sikandar' revealed

The same report also indicated that Mandanna, who is sharing screen space with Khan for the first time, has been paid ₹5 crore for her role.

This comes after her successful performances in films like Animal and Pushpa 2.

Meanwhile, Aggarwal's remuneration for the film is ₹3 crore.

The report did not clarify if Khan has opted for a profit-sharing model for this film, as he has done in his other projects.

    Revenue recovery

'Sikandar' recovers a significant portion of budget pre-release

Reportedly, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has already reportedly recovered ₹165 crore from the OTT, television, and music rights of Sikandar.

Netflix has bought the streaming rights for ₹80 crore. If the film crosses ₹350 crore at the box office, then the deal will go up to ₹100 crore.

This means about 80% of the movie's budget has been recovered even before its release!

Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar are also part of the cast.
