Gauahar Khan buys 3 Versova apartments for ₹10.13cr
What's the story
Indian actor and model Gauahar Khan recently purchased three properties in Mumbai's Versova area.
The deal was worth ₹10.13 crore, as per property registration records of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) accessed by Square Yards.
All three apartments are located in the same residential project within the Shiv Kutir Co-operative Housing Society Limited.
While one property was registered only under Khan's name, she co-bought the other two with her husband-influencer Zaid Darbar.
Individual acquisition
Details of Khan's individual property purchase
The first apartment, bought in Khan's name alone, was bought for ₹2.8 crore.
The property covers a carpet area of 1,104.75 sqft (almost 102.64 sqm) and a built-up area of 123.2 sqm (approximately 1,326.11 sqft).
The deal also comes with one car parking space.
Square Yards's review of the IGR's property registration records, reviewed on Wednesday (February 12), showed that the transaction carried a stamp duty of ₹13.98 lakh, along with a registration charge of ₹30,000.
Joint acquisitions
Khan and Darbar's joint property purchases
In another deal, Khan and Darbar together bought two flats in the same residential project for ₹7.33 crore.
The two properties have a combined carpet area of 2,393 sqft (approx. 222.32 sqm) and a built-up area of 266.87 sqm (nearly 2,872.56 sqft).
The deal includes two car parking spaces, along with a stamp duty of ₹43.97 lakh and a ₹30,000 registration charge.
Meanwhile, work-wise Khan and Darbar are working on a mystery film that will be released on OTT.
Market insight
Why Versova makes for a lucrative property market
From February 2024 and January 2025, five transactions with a gross value of ₹14 crore were registered in Shiv Kutir CHS.
The current average resale price of properties in this project stands at ₹25,387 per sqft.
Versova is a well-connected residential area in Mumbai's western suburbs, providing connectivity to major commercial and entertainment hotspots.
It boasts a well-developed transport network, including the Metro, Link Road, and Western Express Highway.
