90s actress Mayoori Kango now heads a division in Google

Remember Mayoori Kango?
The light-eyed beauty who was the face of the melodious song, ghar se nikalte te hi, kuch door chalte hi, in 1996 Jugal Hansraj starrer Papa Kehte Hain?
She went away from the limelight, but opted for an alternative career, which only went north.
As per recent media reports, Mayoori has joined Google India as Head of Industry - Agency.
Debut
Mayoori made her debut at 15 with National-Award winner 'Naseem'
Mayoori made her big Bollywood debut at the age of 15 with the National Film Award-winning movie, Naseem in 1995.
For the uninitiated, she had chosen Bollywood over getting enrolled in IIT Kanpur back then.
In her career spanning over a decade, Mayoori worked in around 15 movies and several television shows.
However, she left showbiz after she married NRI Aditya Dhillon in 2003.
Career
Earlier, Mayoori was the managing director of Performics
After she moved her base to US, Mayoori entered the corporate sector in 2003.
She worked with New York City-based digital agency called 360i as an associate media manager for a few years.
The 36-year-old then worked as the managing director of Performics.
She was also associated with Zenith as their Chief Digital Officer.

Mayoori shifted back to India after birth of her son
Mayoori also pursued an MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College - Zicklin School of Business. She reportedly worked in the US till 2012, but returned to India after the birth of her son. She currently resides in Gurugram.
