Despite these concerns, she is not entirely opposed to AI technology.

Twigs revealed that she has created a deepfake version of herself.
This AI is programmed with her personality traits and can mimic her unique voice in multiple languages.
She plans to use this technology to manage her social media interactions while focusing on her art.
However, she emphasized that this application of AI is under her direct control and stated, "This is all under my control, and I can grant or refuse consent in a way that is meaningful."

The testimony was presented in the context of the proposed NO FAKES Act, which aims to protect American identities from nonconsensual deepfakes through federal regulations.
Kyncl suggested implementing federal regulation through property right licenses, adherence to First Amendment principles, and penalties for AI developers.
He also highlighted the significant role music has played in promoting technological adoption throughout history, noting that "music has often been the canary in the coal mine."
