    What's the story

Amazon Prime Video has canceled the popular series My Lady Jane, starring Emily Bader and Edward Bluemel, after just one season.

The decision was reportedly due to low viewership, despite the show receiving a 96% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Fans have expressed their disappointment and launched a petition to save the series, hoping for a renewal by another streaming platform.

Following the announcement, fans are encouraging continued viewership of the series in hopes of persuading Amazon Prime Video to reconsider their decision.

The hashtag #SaveLadyJane has been trending on social media, with fans expressing their frustration over the abrupt cancelation of a show they had grown to love.

Fans are now signing a petition to rescue the show and over 6,000 signatures have been collected so far (till the time of writing).

    Plot details

Show's innovative concept and promising finale

My Lady Jane, created by Gemma Burgess, presented a creative reinterpretation of English history.

The series featured Ethians, humans with the ability to transform into animals, and Verities, those without this power.

The story centered around Lady Jane Grey (Bader), England's queen with the shortest reign, and Lord Guildford Dudley (Bluemel).

The season finale hinted at an unfinished narrative, with the couple uniting to face future challenges.
