DJ Azex found dead in Bhubaneswar under mysterious circumstances
What's the story
Popular DJ Azex, whose real name was Akshay Moharana, was found dead at his residence in Odisha's Bhubaneswar on Saturday, said multiple media reports.
His body has reportedly been kept in the city's Capital Hospital mortuary. The Kharavel Nagar Police is investigating the cause of his sudden and mysterious death, especially since he was quite young.

It is suspected that he died by suicide
As per his family, Azex possibly died by suicide, though the reason is not entirely clear yet.
A family member told Odisha TV, "There was a power cut during a thunderstorm yesterday and Azex was inside his room. When we went to call him around 10 pm, we found his door closed. Later, we found his body hanging after we broke open the door."
Family's statement
Azex's girlfriend, her friend behind this, claims family
Azex's uncle Bholanath Moharana told Odisha TV, "At around 10:30 pm yesterday, I got information about the incident and soon family members took him to a private hospital."
He claimed that Azex's alleged girlfriend and one of her friends were behind his death.
Moharana also hinted at Azex being blackmailed by them and urged the police to "verify" information on his mobile phone, too.

Girl was allegedly demanding money, harassing him: Friend
Not just Azex's family but his friend has also alleged his girlfriend might have had something to do with his demise.
As per Odisha TV, Azex's friend alleged, "The girl was demanding money on regular occasions and was mentally harassing him along with a male friend. We want a detailed investigation into the matter as he was being harassed over some pictures or video."
Investigation
Investigation underway, truth will come out: Police
Manas Gadnayak, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar Zone-1, said, "It appears that the deceased DJ...has ended his life by suicide."
He added that based on his mother's complaint, a case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 306 has been registered.
"Our investigation is underway and the truth will come out. All the aspects including the witness will be examined during...the investigation," Gadnayak stated.
Career
Azex's heartbroken fans left comments on social media
DJ Azex was quite popular in Odisha and had a fan following that ran into thousands.
Most recently, he shared videos and photos from a Holi event on Instagram, where he was followed by nearly 95,000 people. He used to regularly share updates about his work, too.
Azex's fans have now left tributes and condolences under his last post, dated four days ago.
