Sushant Singh Rajput did not misbehave with Sanjana Sanghi: Director
What's the story
Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly got a little too friendly with the newcomer actress Sanjana Sanghi. This happened on the sets of Kizie Aur Manny, the film they are shooting together.
Sanghi apparently felt uncomfortable and as a result, the shooting was halted.
However, director Mukesh Chhabra has denied these claims, calling them 'figment of wild imagination.'

To begin with, Sushant is an outgoing person. However, his friendliness was reportedly not liked by Sanghi who is a newbie.
She felt uncomfortable and complained to her parents. They advised her not to return unless she was comfortable.
Evidently, this caused the film's shooting to stop.
Goes without saying, friendliness and advances are not the same; and Sushant might have crossed a line.
The denial
The director slams all speculations
Neither Sushant nor director Mukesh Chhabra made any statements except for the official one.
The director quashed all rumors saying that they were speculations and figment of wild imaginations.
He said that shooting would commence in Mumbai after wrapping up the Jamshedpur and Ranchi shoots.
Lastly, he asserted that the project had been a joyride and everyone involved was one big happy family.

The studio released an official statement
Fox Star Studios said, "We, as a studio, take the safety of our talent and crew with utmost seriousness. No such incident has happened... shoot has not been suspended..the final schedule of our shoot is on as we speak... releasing the film in 2019".

'Kizie Aur Manny' is a Bollywood remake of John Green's popular book 'The Fault in Our Stars'.
The story is about the relationship between two cancer patients. It is the directorial debut of casting-director Mukesh Chhabra.
Ironically, the speculation of misconduct appears to be the fault in the film's stars.
However, now the situation has been cleared up. Hopefully, the project will sail smoothly.
