    What's the story

Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa are returning with the third installment of their popular franchise, Sardaar Ji.

The Punjabi superstar recently took to Instagram to announce that Sardaar Ji 3 will hit theaters in June this year.

Sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the film set, he captioned one post simply as "Sardaar Ji 3 Movie in JUNE."

The movie, directed by Amar Hundal, has a star-studded supporting cast.

    Ensemble cast

Is Hania Amir going to be in 'Sardaar Ji 3'

Sardaar Ji 3 features an ensemble cast including Gulshan Grover, Manav Vij, Nasir Chinyoti, Monica Sharma, and Saleem Albela.

According to some reports, Pakistani actor Hania Aamir has also been roped in.

This speculation was further fueled by recent social media posts from both Dosanjh and Aamir that hinted at a possible professional collaboration.

However, there has been no official confirmation so far.

    Upcoming projects

Meanwhile, Dosanjh is also working on 'Punjab 95'

Apart from Sardaar Ji 3, Dosanjh is also working on another upcoming movie, Punjab 95.

It draws inspiration from the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who was a Sikh human rights activist amid the militancy period in Punjab.

Earlier, the Central Board of Film Certification had reportedly demanded a whopping 120 cuts in the film and the movie is running behind schedule.

The film is still awaiting a release date in India.
