    What's the story

The action-packed film Devara Part 1, featuring Jr NTR, has witnessed a steady rise in its box office collection.

Despite experiencing a slight dip on Monday, the film's earnings saw an increase on Tuesday evening across all languages, particularly in Hindi.

Per industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie earned ₹13.5cr on Tuesday alone—a significant improvement from Monday's ₹12.75cr haul.

    Collection details

'Devara' has raked in ₹186cr in India so far

As it stands, Devara Part 1 has raked in a total net collection of ₹186cr across India. The worldwide gross is inching closer to the ₹340cr mark.

The original Telugu version of the film has been consistently earning around ₹8cr, while the dubbed Hindi version saw a boost, grossing over ₹5cr.

This trend is similar to that of Kalki 2898 AD, another film whose Hindi version outperformed its original Telugu counterpart.

    Audience reception

'Devara Part 1' finds acceptance despite mixed reviews

Despite receiving mixed reviews, Devara Part 1 has found acceptance among audiences, particularly in mass centers.

The film is expected to maintain a steady trend throughout the week and see a spike in its second weekend due to no major box office releases.

The movie also marks the Telugu debuts of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

    Upcoming challenges

'Devara Part 1' to face competition from Hindi films

Looking ahead, Devara Part 1 will have an entire week to itself before it faces competition from two Hindi films at the box office.

These include Alia Bhatt's jailbreak action film Jigra and the Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

Despite this upcoming challenge, the film's strong performance so far suggests that it may continue to hold its own in the competitive market.
