Kanagaraj wrote in his post, "Kicked to have @shrutihaasan joining the cast of #Coolie as #Preethi. Welcome on board."
This will be Haasan's first time sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in a film.

Nagarjuna to portray 'Simon' in the action drama
In addition to Haasan, Telugu superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna has also been confirmed for Coolie.
The actor will be playing a character named Simon, as revealed in his stylish character poster.
