Despite this downturn, the film has achieved a noteworthy milestone with a total domestic collection of ₹60cr.
Additionally, Monday's lackluster performance was mirrored in the overall Hindi occupancy rate of just 10.24%.
Meanwhile, according to the makers, the film has grossed over ₹104cr worldwide.
Competition ahead
'Crew' to face competition from 'BMCM' and 'Maidaan'
Crew stands out in mainstream Hindi cinema as it does not include any male stars in leading roles. Instead, Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh appear in supporting roles.
Going forward, the film is set to face stiff competition as two major Bollywood films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, and Maidaan featuring Ajay Devgn, are set to hit theaters on Thursday and Wednesday, respectively.

Meanwhile, producers hinted at a potential 'Crew' sequel
In a conversation withVariety, Rhea mentioned that the buzz surrounding Crew is so huge that she is open to considering a sequel.
"I really get scared of sequels," she said, adding, "But this is the first film where I finished the film and a week later, my writers have messaged me and told me that they have an idea for the sequel."
"This film could make a really fun sequel because the end is open-ended," Rhea added.
