    What's the story

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was one of the most anticipated releases of the year, but it fizzled out quickly upon its arrival on Eid.

It has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is pitted against Ajay Devgn's sports biopic Maidaan.

Though it has been performing well globally, its daily earnings remain low, with its total collection standing at ₹55.55 crore.

Notably, it received highly negative reviews.

Despite a steady increase, overall collections remain low

The second Friday after its release saw BMCM earn ₹1.4 crore in India. The following day, the film's earnings surged by 25%, bringing in ₹1.75 crore.

This upward trend continued into Sunday with a significant 42.86% increase, resulting in a total of ₹2.5 crore for the day.

Despite these gains, the film's collections have not met industry expectations so far.

On the other hand, reportedly, the film's global earnings exceeded ₹90 crore.

However, the film managed to regain some ground on its first Saturday with earnings of ₹8.5 crore and further improved on Sunday with ₹9.05 crore.

In its debut week, BMCM accumulated ₹49.9 crore in India.
