As per the reports, this break-up was done to ensure a timely elimination for Anup.

In fact, Anup, during his interview with India Today, had dropped hints about his month long stint on BB12.
"I have my concerts lined up, and I want them to release me a bit early. I think I can stay for a month there and in all these days, I will enjoy the experience to the hilt," he was quoted saying.

Well, we still have our doubts about Anup-Jasleen's break-up, but there is one person who is quite happy about it.
We are talking about Jasleen's father Kesar Matharu who feels that the two would have anyway called off the relationship eventually.
"This relationship won't long last, so better finish it now. Anup took a good decision; it will benefit both of them," Kesar added.
