What's the story
The much-anticipated trailer of Taaza Khabar Season 2 was released on Wednesday.
The series, which stars Bhuvan Bam and Shriya Pilgaonkar, will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 27.
In this season, viewers will witness a gripping face-off between Bam's character Vasya and Yusuf Akhtar, played by veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi.
The show is produced by Rohit Raj and Bam under BB Ki Vines Productions.

Apart from Bam and Jaaferi, Taaza Khabar also features Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani, and Shilpa Shukla in key roles.
The series is directed by Himank Gaur.

'Shooting Season 2 has been emotionally challenging'
Bam said, "Shooting Season 2 has been emotionally challenging and I could see myself in Vasya's eyes and his journey to balance all that is happening around him."
He added, "My character graph grows this season and embarks upon a journey of redemptions and realizations. Moreover, I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the iconic Jaaved Jaaferi this time and learned a lot from him."

Jaaferi excited about playing the antagonist
Jaaferi said, "When I was offered Taaza Khabar S2, I was excited about playing the antagonist. Yusuf is layered, powerful and has a fierce demeanor, which is unlike any role I have essayed in the past."
Pilgaonkar, who plays Madhu in the series, said, "In Season 1 we see her transition from her life as a sex worker but eventually she loses everything. In Season 2, she is back again to reclaim what is hers."
