'Was hurt'—Anjana Sukhani recalls being 'ignored' during 'Good Newwz' promotions

Actor Anjana Sukhani recently opened up about being left out of the promotions of the 2019 film Good Newwz.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, she expressed disappointment over being sidelined for the film's lead actors Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh.
Despite having an important role as Kumar's on-screen sister in the film, she felt neglected during its promotions.

Sukhani emphasized the importance of actors' credibility
The actor emphasized, "If you have chosen an actor, every actor comes with a certain amount of credibility."
"Your credibility could be a hundred on hundred; mine would be 20 on 100...Akshay Kumar doesn't need publicity; he is Akshay Kumar. But I need it."
"I wasn't expecting them to rally me with them everywhere because it's the story about two couples, but to completely ignore one out of promotions? I don't understand the marketing strategy of people."

Sukhani was finally helped by Kumar
Sukhani also acknowledged the ups and downs of her career, admitting to a phase of little work before Good Newwz.
However, she found the complete exclusion from promotions disheartening and sought Kumar's help.
"I told Akshay about it because I was really hurt not being included at all anywhere. So, I told him, 'Please do help me out with this."
Kumar arranged a press meet for her at Dharma Productions's office, where she eventually appeared for interviews.
