#AngreziMedium: Producer Dinesh Vijan gets emotional about Irrfan Khan's return
What's the story
After battling a rare cancer for over a year, Irrfan Khan returned to work yesterday and began shooting for Angrezi Medium in Rajasthan.
Notably, this film is the sequel to his 2017 release Hindi Medium.
It was indeed overwhelming for his fans and for producer Dinesh Vijan, it was no different who got emotional about Irrfan's return on the sets.

'When he gave the first shot, everyone around got emotional'
Vijan mentioned that watching Irrfan facing the camera again after such a long hiatus was a surreal feeling for everyone on the sets.
"He's undoubtedly one of the best actors in the country. When he gave the first shot, everyone around got emotional. For me, it was one of those life-defining moments working with him again after Hindi Medium," Dinesh stated.

'Angrezi Medium' director wanted to collaborate with Irrfan since long
Interestingly, this is the first time that director Homi Adajania is collaborating with Irrfan and said he's looking forward to this journey.
"We've been wanting to collaborate for the longest time and I'd often dream of that day. Today was better than what I had ever dreamed of. Old school Irrfan doing what he does best - effortless and sublime," Homi was quoted saying.
Cast
Radhika Madan is playing Irrfan's daughter, confirms Dinesh
Angrezi Medium will also star television actress Radhika Madan in a key role.
Media reports suggested that she will be playing Irrfan's daughter in the movie.
Kareena Kapoor Khan was also apparently roped in for the movie.
However, Dinesh cleared the air about it and stated, "Radhika is playing Irrfan's daughter but yes, there is another amazing lady. Talks are on."
Shooting
'Angrezi Medium' to head to London in June
Talking about the shooting schedule, Dinesh revealed that they would be filming in Rajasthan till the end of this month.
In June, the team will move to London for the international schedule as Irrfan's daughter in the movie aspires to study in the West.
"Her father's background and his language handicap is a major hindrance and adds to the chaos and laughs," Dinesh informed.
