Ananya Birla quits music; will focus on business instead

Ananya Birla, the renowned artist and entrepreneur, announced her exit from the music industry to focus more on her business ventures.
The daughter of Aditya Birla Group's chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla made this announcement on a popular social media platform on Monday night.
"Guys, this has been the hardest decision," she shared, explaining that balancing her businesses and music career was becoming increasingly difficult and taking a toll on her.

Was not being appreciated enough part of reason?
Much to the dismay of her fans, Birla elaborated on her decision to quit music on a long note.
"I've reached a stage where balancing both the businesses and music is becoming near impossible and it's taking a toll on me in ways I can't express."
She seemingly expressed regret for not being appreciated enough: "I hope one day we can appreciate English music made by our own people as there is so much talent in our own country."

Music career
Birla's musical journey and achievements
Birla's foray into music began with her debut single Livin The Life in 2016.
She made history as the first Indian artist to have an English single achieve platinum status in India.
Additionally, she was featured on Sirius XM Hits, a top American pop radio show.
Despite her success, Birla has decided to hang her boots (read: mic).
Business ventures

Beyond music, Birla is known for her entrepreneurial endeavors.
She founded Svatantra Microfin, a microfinance firm providing financial aid to underprivileged households and female entrepreneurs in rural India.
The 29-year-old also launched Ikai Asai, an artisanal-focused design firm, and CuroCarte, an online marketplace for luxury handcrafted goods worldwide.
Last year, she joined the board of directors at Grasim Industries, a key company within the Aditya Birla Group.
