    'Rising Star' goes up on the TRP charts

    In a rejoice for the team of 'Rising Star', the singing reality show is now among the top 5 shows on Television.

    In the latest Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) ratings, it moved up three places to occupy the fifth spot.

    The show has done well for Colors after the season eleven of Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss' ended.

    'Rising Star' attracting more viewers every week

    The second season of 'Rising Star' has grabbed eyeballs since its inception. It recorded massive numbers in the opening week itself.

    Apart from Diljit Dosanjh, Shankar Mahadevan and Monali Thakur as judges, the show also has a talented mix of singers from across the country.

    The live voting aspect of the show ensures a wider audience.

    'Kundali Bhagya' gets the top spot once again

    Further, 'Kundali Bhagya' retained its numero uno spot in the week seven of 2018 and by a huge margin. It continues to engross the audience with its drama-packed episodes.

    It is followed by 'Kumkum Bhagya' which garnered the second best ratings.

    The third and the fourth spot were taken by 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' and 'Udaan' respectively.

    Colors continues to lead the channels' race

    Colors has emerged the top Generic Entertainment Channel in the seventh week of 2018 as well. Its shows continue to garner the maximum TRPs.

    On the second spot is the new Star Bharat, followed by Star Plus.

    Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television have occupied the fourth and fifth spot respectively.
