    Alia Bhatt speaks on prevalence of casting couch in Bollywood

    Alia Bhatt, who is currently basking in the phenomenal success of 'Raazi', has opened up on the malicious practice of casting couch that harasses the strugglers in the film industry.

    In an interaction with a publication, Alia said that the debate on casting couch has suddenly heated up and has made the environment negative.

    Alia revealed she never faced any such situation

    Sharing her viewpoint, Alia said, "I know and do understand that at times, many boys and girls have to go through bad situations in order to be able to fetch some work."

    "Everyone faces their own battle of struggle in order to be able to get work here. And during their struggle some people could use the strugglers for their benefit," she added.

    She also had a word of advice for the strugglers

    Giving a piece of advice to those who are faced with the issue, Alia said, "They should always believe in themselves. However, if at all they are confronted with this bad moment they need to immediately inform their parents. And thereafter go to the police."

    She also added that casting couch is not confined only to Bollywood.

    Meanwhile, 'Raazi' continues to excel at the box office

    Meanwhile, 'Raazi' continues to score big in its second week as well, despite facing stiff competition from 'Deadpool 2'. The film currently stands at a total of Rs. 68.88 crore and is now eyeing the Rs. 100 crore mark.
