    What's the story

Bollywood celebrities Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are set to relocate to their newly built bungalow in Bandra, Mumbai.

Currently residing in a Bandra apartment with their daughter Raha Kapoor, the couple has been actively involved in overseeing the construction of their new home.

An insider told Hindustan Times that they are expected to move within the next two to three months as only finishing touches remain on the bungalow.

    Almost ready

Final touches on Bhatt and Kapoor's new residence

The construction work on Bhatt and Kapoor's new bungalow is nearing completion.

"The ongoing work on their bungalow is almost done, with the finishing going on, which should take one month or so," revealed an insider.

Once the final touches are completed and they receive a go-ahead from the builders, the couple plans to move into their new home.

    Festive plans

Diwali celebrations planned in new home

The couple's excitement for their new home is amplified by plans to celebrate the festival of Diwali there.

"In fact, they will most probably be celebrating Diwali with Raha in the new house this year," shared the source.

This move and celebration mark a significant milestone for Bhatt, Kapoor, and their daughter Raha.

The family is looking forward to creating special memories in their new residence.

    Family heritage

Bungalow's emotional significance for the Kapoor family

The bungalow, named Krishna Raj after Kapoor's grandmother, holds a special place in the family's heart.

Originally owned by Kapoor's grandparents Raj Kapoor and Raj, it was inherited by the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu in 1980.

The property is where Kapoor grew up and where he and Alia now wish for their daughter Raha to grow up, too.

"They are excited about this new chapter of their life in the new house with their little one," concluded the source.
