Producer Boney Kapoor and director H Vinoth have officially announced their next collaboration, AK 61.
Tamil star Ajith Kumar (AK) will be the lead actor in this venture, and it will be the third collaboration of the trio.
Their announcement post had a monochrome photograph of AK, where the actor was seen sporting white beard and hair. A pair of spectacles completed the look.

AK, Vinoth and Kapoor's first collaboration was Nerkonda Paarvai. Following its massive success, they teamed up again for Valimai.
The action thriller is posed for a February 24 release.

Hearsay has that plot and screenplay have been finalized and massive sets are being constructed in Chennai and Hyderabad. The shooting schedule will be kick-started next month and the film is eyeing a Diwali release this year.
Notably, Kapoor had told media of this venture last September.
