'Dune: Prophecy' welcomes 'Succession' star Jihae to its ensemble

South Korean actor, musician, and multimedia artist Jihae has secured a recurring guest star role in the upcoming Max prequel series Dune: Prophecy, as reported by Variety.
Known for her recent role as PR consultant Berry Schneider in HBO's critically acclaimed series Succession, Jihae is the latest addition to the cast.
This follows the big reveal that Indian superstar Tabu will also be joining the show.

Dune: Prophecy, initially commissioned in 2019 as Dune: The Sisterhood, is inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson.
The series is set in the expansive universe of Dune, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and takes place 10,000 years before Paul Atreides's ascension.
It follows two Harkonnen sisters battling forces threatening humankind's future and establishing the Bene Gesserit sect.

In Dune: Prophecy, Jihae will embody the character of Reverend Mother Kasha, described as "the Emperor's own Truthsayer and confidant."
