    What's the story

Tanushree Dutta's shocking allegations against Nana Patekar have laid the groundwork for the #MeToo movement in Bollywood.

And now Abhijeet Bhattacharya has joined the league as an alleged offender.

A flight attendant has alleged that the singer harassed her around 20 years ago.

Shockingly, Abhijeet has not just dismissed the claims but also said fat, ugly women are doing it to gain attention.

    Victim's statement

Abhijeet twisted my wrist, pulling me towards him, claims victim

In a Facebook post, flight attendant Bodhisattva YaMyoho (as named on FB), narrated her ordeal of sexual harassment.

She wrote Abhijeet twisted her wrist and even pulled her towards him at a pub in Kolkata.

She refused to dance with him, and this 'annoyed' Abhijeet to an extent that he turned abusive and almost kissed and nibbled her on the left ear.

And, the gem by Abhijeet "I wasn't born then"

Abhijeet, who has rubbished the claims said, that he wasn't even born at that time. Notably, his biological age is 58.

He further said that these allegations are being made by fat, ugly girls on the pretext of getting publicity.

"No one deserves (the attention). Just to grab attention they are coming out. Most of the fat and ugly girls are blaming," Abhijeet added.

    Victim's reaction

Victim lashes out at Abhijeet: 'It isn't a publicity gimmick'

Abhijeet's statement has left many of us infuriated. And it's only justified.

While he termed the allegations as a publicity gimmick, Bodhisattva slammed him saying, "If a woman talks about her #MeToo story, she is NOT seeking publicity or monies".

She even asserted that she has evidence of the incident as the story was covered by one of the leading dailies.
