Delhi: School cab driver arrested for molesting 10-year-old girl

A 29-year-old school cab driver has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old school girl while dropping her home in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri area.
According to police, the incident came to light on Wednesday when the girl's parents questioned her about her changed behavior.
The accused was arrested, a day after the matter was reported to the police.
The girl
The driver made the child sit on his lap
The driver, Ambuj Kumar, used to ferry the girl to school and had been molesting her for almost a week. The girl said that the driver made her sit on his lap on the pretext of giving driving lessons.
After knowing the details, the parents approached police and a case has been registered under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Driver arrested within few hours of complaint: Police
Within a few hours after a complaint was registered, the driver, a resident of Sector 9 in Rohini, was arrested, said a police official.
The girl was inappropriately touched by the driver and was also threatened when she cried in pain, said the complaint.
The girl's parents added that she refused to go to school for the past few days and complained of nausea.
