    Vivo India reduces prices of X21, V9 and Y83 smartphones

    What's the story

    In the world's fastest-growing smartphone market, OEMs are introducing handsets almost every other day.

    And given the increasing competition, companies are bound to slash prices of their existing models to attract customers.

    In the latest update, Vivo has reduced the prices of Vivo X21, Vivo V9, and Vivo Y83 by up to Rs. 4,000.

    Here's more about the phones and their new prices.

    New price

    Product #1: Vivo X21, the phone with in-display fingerprint sensor

    Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and in-display fingerprint sensor.

    It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 3,200mAh battery and runs Android Oreo-based FunTouchOS 4.0.

    Its stand-out feature is its in-display fingerprint sensor.

    It sports a 12MP+5MP dual rear-camera setup and a 12MP front camera.

    It was launched for Rs. 35,990, but is now priced at Rs. 31,990.

    Product #2: Vivo V9 gets a price-cut of Rs. 4,000

    The second product in the list is Vivo V9.

    It sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ (1080*2280p) display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 90% screen-to-body ratio.

    It runs Android Oreo-based FuntouchOS4.0 and is powered by Snapdragon 626 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable upto 256GB) and 3,260mAh battery.

    It has a 16MP+5MP dual rear-camera setup along with a 24MP selfie snapper.

    The phone is available at Rs. 18,990.

    Product #3: Vivo Y83 was launched at Rs. 14,990

    The next in line is Vivo Y83.

    It features a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, and an 88% screen-to-body ratio.

    It runs Android Oreo-based FunTouchOS 4.0 and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor, paired with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage (expandable up to 256GB), and 3,260mAh battery.

    The phone sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

    It is now priced at Rs. 13,990.
