Toyota Glanza to launch in India on June 6

Japanese carmaker Toyota is all set to launch its Glanza hatchback in India on June 6.
The premium hatchback would arrive as a rebadged avatar of Maruti Suzuki's Baleno.
Reportedly, the car is expected to come in six variants and two petrol engine options including a 1.2-liter K12B engine and a 1.2-liter K12C unit.

Talking about looks, the Toyota Glanza follows the design cues of Maruti Suzuki's Baleno and features similar alloy wheels and front grille under Toyota badging.
For lighting, the hatchback will be using LED headlamps along with the day time running lights and LED tail lamps.
Moreover, the car is expected to come in Dark Red, Blue, Grey, and White color options.

Inside the cabin, the 5-seater Toyota Glanza features similar interiors to Maruti Suzuki's Baleno including same seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with power steering support and paddle shifters.
Talking about the electronic features, the hatchback is expected to feature a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a bunch of new-age features like Bluetooth, Navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Power and performance
As per the leaks, the Toyota Glanza will be offered in two petrol engine options: the 1.2-liter K12B engine and a 1.2-liter K12C DualJet unit with the mild-hybrid system.
The former would be capable of producing 83bhp of power and 113Nm of peak torque, while the latter would churn out 90bhp and 113Nm.
Lastly, the hatchback is expected to offer a mileage of 21kmpl.

Toyota Glanza: On the road
The Toyota Glanza is expected to feature power locks for doors with central locking, blind spot monitoring, and anti-theft provisions.
As per the leaks, the hatchback will come equipped with ABS along with EBD and traction control for better grip on the road.
Also, the car is likely to offer dual-airbags, rear parking sensors, child safety locks, and a speed warning system.
