    Those who want their next phone to be a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can now go to the Samsung India website and pre-register. Once it's done, you will start getting the latest updates.

    The routine involves filling out the mandatory details, such as name, email, mobile number and pin code, and answering, "What are you looking for in your Galaxy Note 8?"

    How to go about it

    You have to nitpick your answer from these options: a superior camera, a premium and stylish design, enhanced battery life, water and dust resistance, powerful gaming performance, and enhanced virtual reality experience.

    You are allowed to tick more than one box. Then you'll have to accept Samsung's Privacy Policy, type the code displayed and click on register to pre-book the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

    As per Indian Express sources, this device will be made available at the Indian retail stores around the last week of September, just in time to encash the Diwali euphoria.

    Reportedly Note 8's base model with 64GB storage will cost around Rs. 65,000. The firm will initially bring its 64GB and 128GB variants in the country and will release the 256GB variant later.

    Worth the money

    In case you need a quick refresher, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 in its Unpacked event, which was held in New York on August 23.

    The smartphone features a 6.3-inch Super QuadHD+ Super AMOLED 'Infinity' display and dual rear camera setup. There's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor and a 3300mAh battery under its hood and the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
