    What's the story

A senior analyst at HCL Technologies, Nitin Edwin Michael, tragically passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the company's Nagpur office.

The 40-year-old was found unresponsive in the office restroom on Friday.

His colleagues provided him emergency care at the on-site clinic, before rushing him to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the city, where he was declared dead on arrival.

HCL described Michael's death as an unfortunate incident.

    Police investigation and company's response

The local cops have filed a case of accidental death and are currently looking into what happened.

Early autopsy reports say that Michael died of cardiac arrest. He leaves behind his wife and a six-year-old son.

HCL expressed deep sorrow over Michael's death, calling it a tragic loss for the company.
