Airtel Home platform aims to simplify billing for multiple connections

    What's the story

Bharti Airtel, India's leading telecom service provider, has announced the launch of 'Airtel Home' - the telco's take on converged services.

Airtel Home is said to be country's first-of-its-kind digital quad-play platform (for telephony, broadband, paid TV and mobile services), that simplifies billing by bundling all Airtel services in one single bill for homes that use multiple Airtel services.

    Here's how it works.

    Customer-centric

Airtel Home is an outcome of customer feedback

"A key feedback we received from customers who use different Airtel services was, why can't they have a single bill for everything as managing multiple payment dates is a very cumbersome process," said George Mathan, CEO-Homes, Bharti Airtel.

"Keeping in mind this feedback, we have launched Airtel Home platform that is not just convenient but also brings more value to our customers," he added.

    Easy-peasy

Here's how to get started with Airtel Home

Download My Airtel App (on iOS/Android) and click on 'Airtel Home' banner.

Add your Airtel Home Broadband connection as primary account and then add other Airtel connections as add-on accounts

Verify the added accounts and agree to pay a single unified bill of all the accounts.

Your Airtel Home id/account is now created. Notably, all accounts can be managed on My Airtel App.

    Do you know?

The unified bill can be paid on the Airtel app

Once you have successfully created an Airtel Home id/account, you will receive a unified bill which you can conveniently pay on the app itself. Further, the summary and individual connection-wise bills of all services will be available in the unified bill.

    Added benefits

Airtel Home users to get premium customer support and discount

All Airtel Home users will get premium customer support, along with upto 10% discount, depending on the number of bundled connections.

This quad-pay solution is part of Project Next - Airtel's digital innovation program that aims to transform customers' experience.

Airtel Home is currently available as a beta-version in Hyderabad and is expected to roll-out across India over the next few weeks.
