    What's the story

Rumours about demonetization of Rs 10 coins spread in Bengaluru, creating chaos as more and more citizens found it difficult to use their coins for payment.

Vendors stopped accepting Rs 10 coins. Many people even rushed to banks to exchange coins in their possession.

RBI had to clarify there is no truth to these rumours.
