    What's the story

Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the all-new Daytona 765 at the British Grand Prix.

The sports bike takes inspiration from Moto2 and looks similar to Daytona 675 motorcycle.

Notably, Triumph will only produce 1,530 units of this super motorcycle. Out of them, 765 units will be allocated to USA and Canada while the remaining units will be sold to the rest of the world.

    Design

Triumph Daytona 765: At a glance

The Triumph Daytona 765 sits on a twin-spar aluminium frame and uses carbon fiber bodywork to save weight.

It sports a fully-faired design and comes with a muscular-looking fuel tank, golden-colored front suspension, split seats, and blacked-out alloy wheels.

Talking about electronic features, the motorcycle gets a fully-digital instrument panel, and an all-LED lighting setup.

    Information

    Power and performance

The Triumph Daytona 765 is powered by a 765cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine which is capable of producing 127bhp of power and 80Nm of peak torque. For transmission duties, the motorcycle gets a six-speed manual gearbox and a bi-directional quick shifter for easy gear shifting.

    Safety

Triumph Daytona 765: On the road

The Triumph Daytona 765 comes equipped with Brembo-sourced disc brakes on both wheels along with dual-channel ABS and traction control for better road handling.

To handle suspension duties, the motorcycle gets Ohlins' fully-adjustable upside-down (USD) forks up front and a monoshock unit on the rear.

Moreover, it offers five riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, Track and Rider Configurable.

    Information

    Finally, what about pricing?

As for the pocket pinch, the all-new Triumph Daytona 765 is priced at GBP 15,765 (approximately Rs. 13.90 lakh). There is no word about its India launch at the moment. However, it is expected that the motorcycle will debut in India at Auto Expo 2020.
