Hero Motocorp has commenced deliveries of its premier motorcycle, the Karizma XMR, in India, as the festive season nears.

During the initial reservation period, the company received 13,688 bookings. Now, it intends to reveal a new booking window very soon.

Initially priced at Rs. 1.73 lakh, the motorcycle's cost has risen to Rs. 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

    Details

The bike boasts a fresh design and new features

The newest version of the renowned Karizma showcases a modern design and an innovative platform.

It presents a variety of new features, such as a Bluetooth-compatible fully digital console, an adjustable two-step windscreen, a USB charging port, and a dual-tone color scheme.

Additionally, it provides turn-by-turn navigation, which Hero asserts is a first in its segment.

    Performance

Hero's first liquid-cooled engine powers Karizma XMR

The Karizma XMR is powered by Hero's inaugural liquid-cooled engine, featuring a 4-valve DOHC cylinder head design.

It generates 25.15hp of maximum power at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission and a slipper clutch.

The bike has a steel trellis frame. Its suspension system consists of a telescopic fork on the front and a preload adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear.
