Kawasaki unveils its naked street fighter, the Z H2
What's the story
After several leaks and spy shots, Japanese automaker Kawasaki recently showcased its flagship motorcycle, the Z H2, at Tokyo Motor Show.
The liter-class superbike arrives as the naked sibling of the company's fully-faired motorcycle, the Ninja H2.
The sports tourer comes with a supercharged motor, along with a bunch of advanced electronic driving aids.

Kawasaki Z H2: At a glance
The Kawasaki Z H2 sits on a steel trellis frame and features a naked street design with dual-tone paint scheme, split type seats, and blacked-out alloy wheels with body-colored accents.
The beefy looking front apron with mounted headlamp, and a muscular fuel tank add more to its aggressive styling.
Also, the motorcycle gets a full-color TFT panel that offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth.

Power and performance
The Kawasaki Z H2 is powered by a supercharged 998cc, liquid-cooled engine, which is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This motor is capable of producing 200PS of maximum power at 11,000rpm and 137Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm.

Kawasaki Z H2: On the road
The Kawasaki Z H2 comes equipped with Brembo-sourced disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS as standard.
It also gets electronic aids like integrated riding modes and Kawasaki Traction Control (KRTC).
To handle suspension duties, the motorcycle houses Showa's Separate Function Forks with Big Piston (SFF-BP) on the front and a monoshock unit on the rear.
Pricing
And, how much will it cost?
As of now, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the Kawasaki Z H2 in India. However, given that the company sells its entire H2 range in the country, we expect the liter-class motorcycle to grace our shores soon.
As for the pocket pinch, it is likely to cost somewhere around Rs. 30 lakh.
