    What's the story

Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch the BS6-compliant version of the iconic Bullet 350 in India, next month.

In the latest development, BikeDekho has claimed that select Royal Enfield dealerships have started accepting the unofficial bookings of the cruiser at a token amount of Rs. 10,000.

    Here's our roundup.

    Design

Royal Enfield Bullet 350: At a glance

The new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 retains the retro-styled look of the outgoing model. It sits on a single downtube frame and features a naked-street design with dual-tone body color, a flat-type seat, and an analog instrument console.

The old-school looks of the cruiser are further accentuated by rounded headlamp as well as mirrors, spoked wheels, and a chrome finished exhaust.

    Internals

    Power and performance

The upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will draw power from a BS6-compliant 346cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine which comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Reportedly, the updated unit will produce same power as its BS4 counterpart. In the current state of tune, it makes 20PS of maximum power and 28Nm of peak torque.

    Safety

What about safety and suspension setup?

On the safety front, the BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Bullet 350 comes equipped with 280mm disc brake up front, drum brake on the rear, and single-channel ABS to avoid skidding while braking.

To handle suspension duties, the motorcycle houses conventional telescopic forks on the front and a 5-step adjustable dual-shock unit on the rear.

    Information

And, how much will it cost?

The company is yet to announce the official details of the BS6-compliant Royal Enfield Bullet 350, but reports suggest that the motorcycle would carry a premium of Rs. 10,000 over the outgoing model, that starts at Rs. 1.21 lakh.
