    Apart from being an eco-friendly alternative to conventional motorcycles, modern-day electric bikes are no slouch in performance and efficiency.

    In fact, there are some e-bikes that promise a range of over 150km on a single charge and are capable of accelerating from 0-60kmph in just a couple of seconds.

    Here, we look at some of the best electric bikes that you can buy.

    Ultraviolette F77: Priced at Rs. 3 lakh

    With a top speed of 147kmph and a range of up to 150km, the Ultraviolette F77 is undoubtedly one of the best electric motorcycles in the country.

    It features a fully-faired look and packs a 4.2kWh removable battery that can be fueled up in 1.5 hours using a fast charger.

    Lastly, the e-bike can do a 0-60kmph sprint in 2.9 seconds.

    Revolt RV 400: Starts at Rs. 1.29 lakh

    Next, it's the feature-loaded Revolt RV 400. The e-motorcycle gets several hi-tech features including an embedded SIM, geo-fencing, ability to track riding pattern, start/stop function, and an artificial exhaust.

    Under the hood, it packs a 3kW motor, which promises a range of 156km on a single charge and can be recharged in approximately 4.5 hours.

    Performance-wise, the e-bike has a top speed of 85kmph.

    Evolet Hawk: Likely to launch at Rs. 1.25 lakh

    Evolet Hawk, a fully-faired electric motorcycle by Gurugram-based Rissala Electric Motors, made its debut at the 2020 Auto Expo.

    The motorcycle gets a spectacular look along with a fully-digital instrument cluster and support for smartphone connectivity.

    It packs a 72V 40Ah Lithium-ion battery that has a claimed range of 100km on a single charge and an impressive top speed of 120kmph.

    Hero Electric AE-47: Expected to launch at Rs. 1 lakh

    Lastly, there is Hero Electric AE-47 which sports an attractive fully-faired design, an all-LED lighting setup, and comes loaded with modern features like geofencing, keyless access, and real-time tracking.

    Powering the e-motorcycle is a 48V/3.5kWh Lithium-ion battery that can be fuelled up in four hours.

    Finally, the bike promises a range of up to 160km and a top speed of 85kmph.
