    What's the story

Aston Martin has brought its flagship model, the Vanquish, to India.

The super GT car, which comes at a price of ₹8.85 crore (ex-showroom), is now the costliest Aston Martin on sale in India.

The vehicle made its global debut in September 2024, and has a stylish design as well as an upmarket cabin. It is fueled by a V12 engine.

    Engine

    Under the hood

The Vanquish gets a new 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces an insane 824hp and 1,000Nm of torque.

The powertrain is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.

Aston Martin says this supercar can go from 0-100km/h in just 3.3 seconds, hitting a top speed of 345km/h - the fastest road-going Aston Martin yet.

    Exteriors

A look at the design elements

The Vanquish features advanced Bilstein DTX adaptive damper technology and standard-fit carbon ceramic brakes- 410mm disk up front and 360mm at the rear.

The supercar also flaunts standard 21-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires.

Its look resembles that of a grand tourer, with an extended bonnet, flowing bodylines, a coupe roofline, and an oversized Aston Martin grille flanked by small side vents on the lower bumper.

    Inside the car

    Interior features and customization options

Just like other Aston Martin cars, the interior of the Vanquish also looks stunning, with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment panel and a digital instrument cluster.

The center console also has physical buttons for different in-car functions.

You get heated Sport seats with 16-way power adjustment, a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, advanced driver assistance systems, panoramic glass roof, and more as standard.

    Competition

    Rivals and market competition

The Aston Martin Vanquish goes up against the likes of Ferrari 12Cilindri in India.

This supercar is for those who have really made it in life, offering a combination of luxury, power, and speed that competes with other high-end models from Lamborghini and Ferrari.

The car's distinctive features and design elements are likely to appeal to a niche audience in India.
