    What's the story

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. has unveiled the 2020 edition of its flagship sports bike, the Street Triple RS.

The new model comes with a bunch of design as well as mechanical updates and looks more sportier and aggressive than the outgoing variant.

Notably, the latest model is likely to hit the Indian roads by early 2020.

    Here's our roundup.

    Design

First, let's take a look at the new motorcycle

The 2020 Street Triple RS features an eye-catching look with a two-tone color scheme, a muscular fuel tank, raised seat height, and blacked out alloy wheels.

The new model looks more sportier than before, thanks to the sharp styling cues and angular looking exhaust unit.

It also gets a full-color digital instrument console with support for Bluetooth and GoPro controls.

    Information

    Power and performance

The 2020 Street Triple RS is powered by a 765cc liquid-cooled, three cylinder engine which is capable of producing 121bhp of power and 79Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties on the motorcycle are handled by a six-speed manual gearbox.

    Safety

For braking performance, the 2020 Street Triple RS houses Brembo-sourced disc brakes on both wheels and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The new model also gets updated riding modes, traction control, and support for turn-by-turn navigation.

Further, it houses upside-down forks on the front and a monoshock unit on the rear to handle suspension duties.

    Information

    And, what about pricing?

At present, Triumph sells 2019 Street Triple RS in India at Rs. 11.13 lakh. Hence, looking at the updates, we expect the 2020 model to arrive at a slightly higher price than the existing variant.
