    What's the story

Hyundai is all set to showcase the 2020 edition of the i30 car at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, which is slated to be held next month.

In the latest development, the South Korean automaker has revealed an image of the upcoming model, showcasing its front fascia and giving us an idea of the updated looks.

    Here's everything to know.

    Exteriors

Here's how it would look like

Going by the teaser image, the new Hyundai i30 will come with an appealing front fascia featuring a massive cascading grille with honeycomb patterns, wide air inlets, and sleek LED headlamps with mounted V-shaped DRLs.

Apart from that, the car will get a sharper side profile with redesigned alloy wheels and a new rear bumper as well as LED taillights.

    Interiors

    Inside the cabin

Not much is known about the interiors of the upcoming Hyundai i30 as of now. But, the car will offer a five-seater cabin just like the outgoing model and is expected to come with several feature updates.

It is likely to come with a new digital instrument console as well as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for connectivity features.

    Information

    Power and performance

The company is yet to reveal the mechanical specifications of the 2020 i30. However, the existing model packs a 1,598cc petrol engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It churns out 120bhp of maximum power and 156Nm of peak torque.

    Pricing

    Will it arrive in India?

There is no official word on the availability of the 2020 Hyundai i30 in India as of now. However, on a related note, the South Korean automaker unveiled the i30 N Fastback at the recently concluded Auto Expo.

That being said, we expect the company to introduce the i30 range and its performance-focused "N" sub-brand to our shores sometime in the near future.
